Ir. Clifford Tse, MD
Clifford has over 20 years of international consultancy and management experience in the healthcare and technology industry and has extensive working experience in the North Americas, Europe and Asia.
Clifford was previously the Strategic Advisor at Jardine Fleming Securities and advised the firm on developing a unified regional trading infrastructure, creating a pan-regional third-market exchange and on the joint-venture with PCCW to develop a premier retail online trading platform. Before that, Clifford was a founding member of Juno Online Services which became one of the largest email and internet service providers in the US with over 40 million users. Before entering the business world, Clifford was a researcher at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), MIT Laboratory of Computer Science, MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and MIT Media Lab, where he developed language and compiler technology for massively parallel supercomputing.
Clifford graduded from MIT with 4 Msc and Bsc degrees in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering. Clifford also pursued post-grad studies in Bioinformatics and Clinical Research Informatics at Stanford.
Dr. Lap Yan Cheung, Director of Research and Development
Dr. Lap Yan Cheung, Director of Research & Development, has over 30 years of experience in technology research and development, especially in designing high-performance systems specialized for healthcare and telecommunications. Dr. Cheung is responsible for leading the research and development office in the UK.
Dr. Cheung was a research scientist at University of Wales and Polytechnic of Newcastle Upon Tyne where his research focused in computer-aided design (CAD) technologies. In the 1990s, Dr. Cheung founded a highly successful business to design and build specialized high-end computer workstations.
Dr. Cheung graduated with Ph.D. from Newcastle University in the UK.
